We want to welcome you to the website for Calvary Baptist Church in Ottumwa, Iowa. At Calvary Baptist Church, we believe the Bible has all the answers to life's problems. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is our sole authority for faith and practice. We preach and teach from the King James Bible and sing the old hymns of the faith.
The church began in a home in 1945. In 1956, land was purchased at 915 Overman Ave. Construction on the basement began and in December of 1957, the first service was held in the basement. We praise God for what Calvary Baptist Church is today. If you are looking for a Bible teaching and Bible preaching church, we invite you to come and join with us.
